O maybe, but by then the damage was done and every single half-decent chill electronic album from the '90s and early '00s was nearly utterly ruined by at least one unnecessary "feat.". I've lost count of the times I'm greatly enjoying some acid/ambient house album and five tracks into the experience the entire flow is rudely interrupted by awkward ebonics slobbering my ears, going on about social issues with verses that read like a 14 year old wrote them (or even worse, some variation on the theme of "oh yeah feel this groove these guys are p good musicians dontcha think lemme talk all over the music so that I can tell you how good the music is)
